UDVeo at the ITS World Congress 2021
In the week from October 11 to 15, the ITS World Congress will take place in Hamburg. Under the heading “Intelligent Transport Systems”, the congress will showcase innovative solutions for the mobility of tomorrow. This year, the use of drones will be an important congress topic, with numerous exhibitors, demonstrations and presentations. UDVeo is pleased to be represented at the congress with various activities and to provide insight into the project results to a broad audience for the first time.
Exhibition booth
What:
At the Helmut Schmidt University booth, UDVeo will present its control center for UAS traffic management (USSP control center). Visitors will be able to see how drone flights are checked for conflicts, approved and monitored. They will also see how the integration works with drone operators’ software systems (Leistände and Ground Control Stations) and how no-fly zones can be established. On the hardware-side, project partners will present their recent progress on UAS and communication technology. In addition, researchers will present their progress on automation and regulatory challenges.
When:
Throughout the duration of the congress
Where:
At the Helmut Schmidt University booth in Hall B4, accessed via the Entrance East of Hamburg Messe
UAM demonstration
What:
Together with the FALKE project, UDVeo will perform a real-world demonstration of the developed UAS traffic management solutions on the homePort. Using real drone flights, the most important UTM processes will be presented: planning, approval, monitoring as well as controlled abort in case of ad hoc no-fly zones. Afterwards, FALKE will present its counter-UAS system.
